Toe up socks, knit according to instructions from the book "Socks From the Toe Up" by Wendy D. Johnson.I am very proud of actually finishing them. Two of them. I was at some point, after knitting the first up until the rib but before beginning on the second one, thinking it would be nice to knit them up to the knee. As it turned out I had to grit my teeth together and force myself to finish them at all. But now I have them! They are a nice dark olive green, not grey like it looks on the photo.
