We were camping in West Yellowstone in MT, driving down to Yellowstone during the days. The camp was rough; so we had to swim in a mosquito infested lake to get clean.
The first night I spent in a small square tent, shared with a tall Scot who had generously volunteered to help me stay warm with my not-quite-good-enough sleepingbag - we couldn't close the tent without curling up, so we slept with our feet sticking out to be able to stretch out. Somehow we only got one mosquito in during the night, and we killed that one.
